| Industry
spends millions of dollars annually trating the negative
effects of contamination caused by wet, dirty air. Beach
has 3 types of breathers to suit every application. |

Disposable
Hygroscopic Breathers
Remove moisture and particulate
before it enters the fluid containing reservoir
|
 |
|
Moisture and
particulate accumulation are major factors of oil
contamination in industrial equipment. Neglected,
these detriments restrict equipment efficiency, causing
machine downtime and significant expense in replacement
oil, parts and repair labor.
Manufactured
with a hygroscopic agent, Beach Breathers have the
capability to extract water vapor from the air as
it is drawn through the unit. Accompanying solid particulate
is then removed by a patented polyester fabric filter,
allowing only clean, dry air to enter the system.

Hygroscopic
Breathers
For harsh or corrosive environments |

The steel
breathers were designed specifically for applications
where there are very high temperatures, extremely
dirty air, or a corrosive environment. They are ruggedly
designed, with housings of epoxy coated carbon steel
or stainless steel. Beach Hygroscopic Breathers accommodate
large air flow rates with minimal pressure drops.
|
|
Beach hygroscopic
breathers are unique, patented air filter and water
vapor removal systems. They replace the standard breather
or ventilation system on virtually all types of industrial
equipment, tanks and reservoirs.
As wet dirty
air is drawn through the unit, a microglass pleated
filter removes particles down to 1 micron and the
hygroscopic agent extracts moisture.
When the air
is expelled from the container, the pleated filter
cleans itself by releasing dirt back into the atmosphere.
The hygroscopic agent is partially reactivated by
the dry air passing back through, thereby permitting
longer periods between recharging or replacing.
An outside
sight glass indicator changes color from blue to pink
when the unit requires recharging.

Hygroscopic
Tank Breathers
With added particulate
filtration |
 |
|
Draw-down
and temperature changes in storage process tanks permit
moisture-laden, heavily contaminated outside air to
enter hte tank, thereby polluting the contents. Beach
Hygroscopic Breathers attack the cause, proactively
preventing expensive problems such as product waste
and time consuming reconditioning.
As the moist,
dirty air is drawn through the unit, the moisture
is extracted by the drying agent and the filter removes
particulates. Silica gel, the most effective drying
agent, is used exclusively in the Beach breather and
a patented, knitted polyester filter removes particles
from the air down to 3-microns.
|
| Beach
tank breathers are manufactured to withstand typical
industrial and tank farm environments. Designed for
installation on virtually any storage and/or process
tank, they are available in eight sizes. What's more
the tank breathers handle large volumes of air flowing
in and out of the storage vessel. |
